• Avoid using language that is one the Things to Avoid List.
• Do not remove valid information. See: Howto edit an existing page on Wikihowto
• Clearly and repeatably state safety risks and procedure if applicable.

[edit] Unacceptable Howtos

The following types of Howtos will be immediately removed: Unacceptable Howtos include ones that

• Break the Law or Encourage Breaking the Law
  • Example: Howto be a serial killer.
• Incites Violence
  • Example: Howto lynch a person.
• Are Intentionally Untrue or Inaccurate
  • Example: Howto build a time machine.
• Biased
  • Example: Howto prove the president is dumb
• Derogatory
  • Example: Howto insult Christians
• Excessively Risky
  • Example: Howto milk poisonous snakes.

• Unnecessary profanity
• Unnecessary sexual content
• Acronyms, slang, lingo, or jargon unless they are accurately defined in Wikipedia
• Adding steps in a Howto that require knowledge of Howto do something that is not available in Wikihowto. Make the separate Howto first and link it.
